Fruit of the Vine Foodshelf - Hunger Hurts... we can help!
Open every Saturday from 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
We have opened a food shelf to serve those around us in need. We have been approved by Second Harvest and will purchase most of our food from them.
OUR STORY
God spoke to one person and said, “Use what you already have.” With these words, coupled with a clear vision, the Fruit of the Vine food shelf was birthed. In February of 2007, our church began a ministry that would bless and serve the working poor in our community.
Our goal for the first year was to serve fifteen families.
In the first month we served twelve! Over the past year we have served 2,348 families 95,151 pounds of food! God has faithfully provided the volunteers and finances to keep this growing ministry going.
The presence of the Holy Spirit at Fruit of the Vine has been felt by many who come. We have experienced God’s healing touch and have seen Him reach out to those who are desperate and hurting.
The Fruit of the Vine is a welcoming place where our guests feel comfortable and can receive both physical and spiritual help.
Come and join us, we'd love to work with you!
