Volunteers

Our children’s areas are filled with volunteers who want to SERVE.  Parents of children in the children’s area who do not serve on a monthly basis may be asked to serve as a substitute on an ”as-needed” basis.

Older children who serve in the nursery must be at least 11 years of age.  No child-volunteers will ever be left alone to care for our nursery children.  At least two adults are staffed between our infant and toddler nursery during each service.

All volunteers are required to fill out a back-ground check form and take our Beginnings Class.  The purpose is to provide a safe environment for our children and to also protect those who serve our children.  If you are interested in becoming a part of this God-exalting ministry, please contact Carly Shellhammer at cshellhammer@southmetrovineyard.org or call the church office at 952-892-1000.
